  • 1 Oslo Sandwiched between a fjord and natural forests, Norway’s capital is a vibrant city of old and new architecture, world-class museums, and modern-day culture. The city is easy to explore on foot.
  • 2 Stavanger Said by some to be the largest wooden city in Europe, Stavanger is Norway’s southern most city, close to the fjord landscape, with a pretty harbour and a picturesque old town that climb’s up from the water’s edge.
  • 3 Stavanger-Lysefjord-Hike up to Pulpit Rock Bergen A favourite fjord, the 42km long Lysefjord glows with light even on dull days. Towering 600m above is Pulpit Rock, a mountain plateau formed like huge pulpit boasting magical scenery and spectacular views.
  • 4 Bergen Surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords Bergen boasts a Heritage Harbour at its center piece and cable cars that climb the city hillsides and offer stunning views from above.
  • 5 Bergen-Hardangerfjord Just south of Bergen is Hardangerfjord, the third largest fjord in the world and home to dramatic waterfalls and glorious glaciers. The region is known as the Orchard of Norway with beautiful fruit trees blossoming in spring.
  • 6 Bergen-Alesund by Hurtigruten We take the coastal steamer, Hurtigruten, from Bergen, taking in stunning views of the fjords from the sea, and arrive at Alesund, a beautiful fishing port stretching along the sea, and home to Norway’s largest fishing fleet.
  • 7 Alesund-Lofoten Islands, northern Norway where the sun never sets On to the land of the midnight sun and the tall and craggy Lofoten Islands, home to sheltered bays, sheep pastures, and picturesque Norwegian villages. The islands are also home to the largest number of nesting birds in Norway.
  • 8 & 9 Lofoten islands midnight sun See the midnight sun, a natural phenomenon – 24 hours of visible sun – that occurs during the summer just above the Arctic Circle. It is an incredible sight and leaves more hours in the day for exploring Norway’s beautiful landscapes.
  • 10 depart Lofoten or continue to Tromso and North Cape Tromso is the ‘capital of the Arctic’, a lively and beautiful city surrounded by mountains, fjords and islands. The North Cape is the closest you will get to the North Pole and is one of the most special places on earth where the midnight sun is at its lowest.

Most Holidays are based on Independent Rail Tour mode of Travel . Holidays could be Customised to your requirements and you could choose to upgrade to Selfdrive or Exclusively Private basis starting from 4 and above we could offer you the whole tour with a Minivan or Coach for the entire period with a dedicated Norwegian guide for all sightseeing and excursions optionally . Spring is from May to mid-June is when the scenery in Norway is at its most spectacular, with trees and flowers waking to life,snow in the mountains .Orchards of flowering fruit trees along the Hardangerfjord in May are images of paradise.

In Late June to Early August Norway experiences warm , bright long days with temperatures between 25 - 30°C .With the sea temperatures around 18 °C it’s a good time to swim . In Autumn the landscape is painted Golden making it a good time to to pick berries and mushrooms .You can experience the midnight sun in the Northern most part of the country above the Artic Circle .

In winter much of Norway is usually transformed into a snow-clad paradise and is the time to witness the amazing Northern Lights

Remember that the weather and temperatures can change quickly, especially in the mountains. So whether summer or winter, autumn or spring –and bring good footwear and warm clothes
