London and Paris are dream destinations for romantic breaks. From the top of Montmartre to the tip of the Eiffel Tower, in the Louvre or on the Left Bank, romance is in the city’s bones. And London is certainly not short of sensational spots such as beautiful green spaces – Hyde Park and Primrose Hill, cruising on the Thames Clipper, and seeing the rooftops of London from the London Eye.

Take afternoon tea at any one of London’s central luxury hotels and enjoy traditional cucumber sandwiches, scones & jam, and delicious tea.

Enjoy a cocktail with flamingos at the Kensington Roof Gardens in London.

Relax over dinner and enjoy the city’s lights while cruising on the Seine River through the heart of Paris.

  • 1-3 London, sightseeing and attractions Visit some of London’s best museums including the British Museum whose galleries are lined with prized possessions of kings and queens, and the Imperial War Museum with some fascinating stories from World War I. Walk among dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum and compare Ming with modern at the V&A.; See Picassos at Tate Modern and the Constables at Tate Britain or go stargazing at the Royal Observatory. See inside Buckingham Palace while the Queen is on holiday and wander some of the most beautiful parks and gardens in the world including Hyde Park and Kew Gardens. Go deep into tiger territory at London Zoo and see London from above at the Shard. Take a stroll after dinner around Lutyens’ fountains in Trafalgar Square – a romantic spot at this time of day, undisturbed by tourists. Tour on a high-speed boat along the Thames, boats leave from Waterloo Millennium Pier. Head to Richmond Park and go horse riding. Try Tango by Candlelight at 33 Portland Place, or lose yourself in romance at the British Film Institute on the South Bank. Head for the Wallace Collection in Manchester Square and go to London Zoo for an afternoon amongst the animals.
  • 4-6 Paris, sightseeing and attractions See all the major sights in Paris and then experience some of the more ‘off the beaten track’ romantic sensations. See Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, the Eiffel Tower, the Luxembourg and Tuileries Gardens, and major museums such as the Louvre and the Musee d’Orsay. Take an epicurean tour of speciality chocolate shops or from agerie (cheese shops), and take walking tours through the exclusive residential streets on Ile St. Louis, the old quarter of the Marais, and the former art colony of Montmartre. Shop for antiques in flea markets or haute couture in fashionable boutiques. Hire a vintage Citroen (with chauffeur dressed in Breton gear) and let him take you on an open-roof tour of Paris. Or rent your own scooter – a ruby red Vespa is very romantic! Discover the secret waterfalls and vineyards of Paris in Paris’s most exotic park known as Parc des Buttes Chaumont. Eat oysters in the city of Romance or sip iced tea in the ‘Garden of Hopeless Romantics’.

Hop on board the London Eye and see some of London’s best views from its 32 capsules, each weighing 10 tonnes and holding up to 25 people.

See, touch and experience the major scientific advances of the last 300 years and don’t forget the awesome Imax Cinema.

Tower Of London

Take a tour with one of the Yeoman Warders around the Tower of London, one of the world’s most famous buildings. Discover its 900 year history as a royal palace, prison and place of execution.

Madame Tussauds, London

Come face-to-face with some of the world’s most famous faces. From Shakespeare to Lady Gaga you’ll meet influential figures from showbiz, sport, politics and royalty.

Borough Market, London

Enter foodie heaven in Borough Market just south of the river where delis and restaurants are open all week and a farmer’s market takes place on Fridays and Saturdays.

St. Paul’S Cathedral, London

See Sir Christopher Wren’s most celebrated building. To get there cross the Millennium Bridge across the Thames, a suspension footbridge that has since been named the ‘Wobbly Bridge’.

Kiss By The Seine, Paris

Kiss by the Seine under the Pont Marie after a short waltz.

Notre Dame, Paris

Light a candle together at Notre Dame Cathedral.

Sacre Coeur, Paris

Climb to the top of Sacre Coeur and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at dust.

Winding Lanes Of Montmartre, Paris

Walk the cobblestone backstreets and lamp-lit stairways that wind up to the top of Montmartre, one of the most betwitching districts in Paris. Seek out the area’s two remaining windmills – Moulin de la Galette and Moulin du Radet – and the last vineyard in Paris for a taste of the countryside in the city.
