  • 1-2 Amsterdam, sightseeing and attractions Relax and unwind on arrival and take a leisurely stroll through this wonderfully young city. Take a sightseeing cruise aboard a canal boat. Enjoy an orientation of the historic city centre. Admire Rembrandt's masterpiece, the 'The Night Watch' on a local expert tour of the Rijksmuseum. Visit a historic diamond polishing factory to see the diamond cutters at work for an insight into this local trade. And, during the flowering season (April until mid-May), visit the tulip fields of Keukenhof where you will see a dazzling display of several million flowering bulbs planted across a 70-acre site.
  • 3 The Hague – Delft and Rotterdam After a leisurely morning, travel through The Hague to the historic town of Delft. Visit the Royal Delft Pottery workshop for a closer look at the manufacture of this beautiful and famous hand painted porcelain. Continue to Rotterdam, the most important river port in Europe. After a short city sightseeing tour, visit the Euro mast Tower for spectacular panoramic views of the city and the famous harbour. Return to Amsterdam.
  • 4 Amsterdam – Haarzuilens – Maastricht – Bastogne – Luxembourg In Haarzuilens, visit the magnificent gardens of fairy-tale De Haar Castle. Continue your journey and stop in the historic fortified city of Maastricht. Enjoy free time to explore the city before continuing to Bastogne. View the American Memorial, erected to commemorate the 76,890 American soldiers wounded or killed during the Battle of the Bulge.
  • 5 Luxembourg – sightseeing and attractions This morning, visit General George S. Patton's grave. Your walking tour of Luxembourg with a local tour guide will show you the sights including the breath-taking gorge of the Rivers Alzette and Petrusse, the Cathedral and the Grand Ducal Palace.
  • 6 Luxembourg – Orval – Dinant – Bruges Visit Orval Abbey, a Cistercian monastery famous for producing Trappiste beer. Continue your journey and stop in the pretty town of Dinant, birthplace of Adolphe Sax – best known for inventing the saxophone.
  • 7-9 Bruges & Gent, sightseeing and attractions Admire the sights of Bruges including the town square during your walking tour with a Local Expert. Cruise along picturesque canals during your sightseeing cruise and take a visit to a Lace Centre to see the production of some of the most beautiful lace in the world. Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming medieval streets at your own pace. Visit the beautiful city of Gent and see the three famous Gent towers – Saint Nicholas' Church, the Belfry and Saint Bavo's Cathedral. Take a city sightseeing tour and see the Atomium, Royal Palace, Japanese Pagodas, the Grand Place and the famous MannekinPis.
