You will see the Rhine Falls, Europe’s biggest waterfall and a magnificent site. Take the adventure path, if you dare, with an elevator that goes from Laufen Castle to the outlook platforms and gives you an unobstructed view of this wonderful spectacle of nature.

Zurich is Switzerland’s high-energy metropolis – shop in the Bahnhofstrasse’s fine boutiques.

Take a journey to the ‘Top of the World’ to Switzerland’s Mount Jungfraujoch and be overwhelmed by some incredible views.

The iconic Chapel Bridge in Lucerne was built in the 14thcentury, though it was heavily damaged by fire in 1993. It snakes across the Reuss.

  • 1 Zurich, sightseeing and attractions Zurich is much more than a banking capital. From impressive churches to awesome art collections, the city has much to offer culture vultures. The Great Church is a 12thcentury structure with 18th-century updates – the core spans the Carolingian to Gothic styles with one modern touch – Giacometti’s stained-glass window. The Stiftung Sammiung E.G Buhrie has a stunning array of Manets, Monets, and more (appointments only). And Zurich is a shopper’s paradise – walk along the Bahnhofstrasse for high-end boutiques, or head for Niederdorf for the more trendy shops.
  • 2 Zurich – Rhine Falls See Europe’s biggest waterfall and its enormous volume of water as it plunges from a height of 23m. Take the adventure path with elevator from Laufen Castle to the outlook platforms and see an unobstructed view of this spectacle of nature. A boat ride to the Rhine Falls basin, the rocks in the middle of the Rhine, and that also travels further down to the Rheinau power plant, is not to be missed. If you’re feeling active, enjoy the Adventure Park at Rhine Falls with one of the most spectacular rope parks in Europe.
  • 3&4 Zermatt, sightseeing and attractions - Matterhorn Zermatt’s main attraction is the Matterhorn. Whether you choose to try and climb the peak yourself or simply take photos, it looms over everything here. Zermattis a car-free town and easy to explore. Visit the Matterhorn Museum for lots more information about the famed mountain. And St. Peter’s Church was built for English climbers seized by the desire to conquer the Matterhorn – there’s also a cemetery for those who didn’t make it. Why not bike the trails surrounding Zermatt – about 24km of downhill tracks have been specifically set aside for the activity.
  • 5 Interlaken – sightseeing and attractions Arrive at Interlaken set in the magnificent Jungrau mountain region of Switzerland. The scenery here is dazzling with the pearl y white snow-capped mountains of the Eiger, the Monch and Jungfrau and the glittering lakes of Thun and Brienz. If you have time on your first day, drop in to the Tourist Museum that outlines the history of the region with costumes, carriages and other curios.
  • 6 Interlaken – Jungfraujoch This morning depart on an excursion from Interlaken upto Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe. This memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then ascent by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow - Jungfraujoch-t 3454m, is the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces that offer breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
  • 7 Lucerne, sightseeing and attractions Experience a magical rail trip by the Golden Pass line from Interlaken to the city of lights – medieval Lucerne. Today is a day at leisure to explore this lovely city or visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument on your own. Stroll over the covered bridges, through the sunny plazas, past candy-coloured houses, and waterfront promenades. Lucerneis a stunning, gorgeous and romantic Swiss city – legend has it that an angel with a light showed the first settlers where to build a chapel in Lucerne, and today it still has amazing grace. Enjoy the dramatic explosion of gilt, marble and baroque frescoes that is the Jesuit Church. And, towering over the city is the majestic Mount Pilatus – you can take a cable car or a cog railway up to the top of the mountain. Take a lake steamer cruise across pretty Lake Lucerne, and wander the city’s Old Town that straddles the narrowed waters.
  • 8 Lucerne, Mount Titlis Take a day tour to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and a ride in a revolving cable car to the top of might Mount Titlis for some majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views. Or relax on the sun terrace and have lunch overlooking the snow-capped peaks.
