On this Swiss Paris tour package you will sample Paris’s abundance of cultural riches, from its museums and palaces to its gardens, monuments, and boulevards. From the historic, fashion-conscious, and bourgeois districts to the bohemian and arty quarters of Paris, there’s so much to see and do in this beautiful City of Light.  See the city from the River Seine on a romantic evening cruise. Climb the Eiffel Tower and get a bird’s eye view of the city below. And wander through the cobbled streets of Montmartre where famous 19th century artists worked magic with their art.

On to Switzerland for a taste of pure mountain air and snow-capped mountains. From Geneva you can see Mont Blanc, the tallest mountain in Europe. The Matterhorn looms over the attractive car-free town of Zermatt where you can explore to your heart’s content. And take a cable car or cog railway up to the top of Mount Pilatus from Lucerne, or a lake steamer cruise across pretty Lake Lucerne. These Swiss Paris tour packages save the best til last, a cable car ride to the top of Mount Titlis for spectacular views of snow-capped peaks.

  • 1-3 Paris, sightseeing and attractions Check in to the hotel and enjoy the city. The City of Lights is unlike any other place on earth. Known for its glorious monuments, museums and markets, from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre, Montmartre to the Marais, Paris has something for everyone. Discover for yourself Paris - “je ne sais quoi.” Climb to the top of Arc de Triomphe for some of the best views of the city, or take the elevator up the Eiffel Tower. Visit the great cathedral of Notre-Dame, which sits along the banks of the Seine. Eat well at a five-star restaurant or a humblebistro, and take time to window shop along the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore. Visit the most famous jewel of France, Versailles Castle, well known as the Sun King's Estate. The palace of Versailles is one of the most visited French monument because of its architecture, its gardens and also because of its history. Located in the prosperous, leafy and bourgeoissuburb of Versailles, just outside Paris, the baroque chateau was the kingdom’s political capital and the seat of the royal court from 1682 until 1789.
  • 4&5 Geneva, sightseeing and attractions Geneva is a hub of diplomacy, shopping and business. Check out the Water Jet – it is Europe’s tallest fountain, spouting nearly 400 feet in to the air every second. At the International Museum of the Reformation and the Wall of the Reformers, you can trace the logic and history behind the Protestant Reformation, and learn about its key players. Explore the parkland in Geneva’s right bank, which provides the best views for seeing nearby Mont Blanc – the mountain is the tallest in Europe.
  • 5&6 Zermatt, sightseeing and attractions Zermatt’s main attraction is the Matterhorn. Whether you choose to try and climb the peak yourself or simply take photos, it looms over everything here. Zermatt is a car-free town and easy to explore. Visit the Matterhorn Museum for lots more information about the famed mountain. And St.Peter’s Church was built for English climbers seized by the desire to conquer the Matterhorn – there’s also a cemetery for those who didn’t make it. Why not bike the trails surrounding Zermatt – about 24km of downhill tracks have been specifically set aside for the activity.
  • 6&7 Lucerne, sightseeing and attractions Arrive in Lucerne whose waterfront is straddled by the picturesque Chapel Bridge, Europe’s oldest. Enjoy the dramatic explosion of gilt, marble and baroque frescoes that is the Jesuit Church. And, towering over the city is the majestic Mount Pilatus – you can take a cable car or a cog railway up to the top of the mountain. Take a lake steamer cruise across pretty Lake Lucerne, and wander the city’s Old Town that straddles the narrowed waters. Take a day tour to Engelberg in the Swiss Alps and a ride in a revolving cable car to the top of might Mount Titlis for some majestic views of ice boulders and crevasses. Get closer to the crevasses on the Ice Flyer chairlift and walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more spectacular views. Or relax on the sun terrace and have lunch overlooking the snow-capped peaks.
