Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe and is 3,454m above sea level. Take some romantic shots of the snow-capped mountains all around, and admire the spectacular scenery from the viewing platforms on the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace.

Paris and beyond

See some of the world’s greatest art at the Louvre, including the Mona Lisa and Winged Victory.

See the 17thcentury Dom cathedral and explore Mozart’s home in the Alstadt.

  • 1 Paris – illuminations Paris is the ‘city of light’ and love. Witness the city at night when it comes to life and relax in to the vibe of the city – eat, shop, andspend the afternoon romantically strolling from district to district, from café to café. If time today, see some of the world’s greatest art at the Louvre, including the Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory.
  • 2 Paris – sightseeing – Eiffel Tower Climb to the top of Arc de Triomphe for some of the best views of the city, or take the elevator up the Eiffel Tower. Visit the great cathedral of Notre-Dame, which sits along the banks of the Seine. Eat well at a five-star restaurant or a humble bistro, and take time to window shop along the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore.
  • 3 Paris – Versailles Visit the most famous jewel of France, Versailles Castle, well known as the Sun King's Estate. The palace of Versailles is one of the most visited French monument because of its architecture, its gardens and also because of its history. Located in the prosperous, leafy and bourgeoissuburb of Versailles, just outside Paris, the baroque chateau was the kingdom’s political capital and the seat of the royal court from 1682 until 1789.
  • 4 Interlaken, sightseeing and attractions Take a train from Paris to Interlaken and arrive in the magnificent Jungrau mountain region of Switzerland. The scenery here is dazzling with the pearly white snow-capped mountains of the Eiger, the Monch and Jungfrau and the glittering lakes of Thun and Brienz. If you have timeon your first day, drop in to the Tourist Museum that outlines the history of the region with costumes, carriages and other curios.
  • 5 Interlaken – Jungfraujoch This morning depart on an excursion from Interlaken upto Jungfraujoch- Top of Europe. This memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost takes you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, atthe foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then ascent by the Jungfrau Railway to the magnificent mountain world of eternal ice and snow - Jungfraujoch-at 3454m, is the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces that offer breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
  • 6 Lucerne walking tour Experience a magical rail trip by the Golden Pass line from Interlaken to the city of lights – medieval Lucerne. Today is a day at leisure to explore this lovely city or visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre orthe Lion Monument on your own. Overnight stay in Lucerne. Stroll over the covered bridges, through the sunny plazas, past candy-coloured houses, and waterfront promenades. Lucerne is a stunning, gorgeous and romantic Swiss city – legend has it that an angel with a light showed the first settlers where to build a chapel in Lucerne, and today it still has amazing grace.
  • 7 Lucerne – Mount Titlis Take the narrow-gauge railway from Lucerne to Engelberg that is characterized by the imposing monastery and church. There are still about 30 monks living and working here today. Hop on the revolving rotair cableway up to the top of Mount Titlis – the highest glacier excursion destination and biggest ski and snowboard paradise in central Switzerland. Be ready for some sensational mind-blowing views from the top!
  • 8 Salzburg – Mozart’s home Standing beside the fast-flowing Salzach River, simply look up and be awe-inspired by the city’s wonderful backdrop of graceful domes and spires, the formidable cliff-top fortress, and the mountains beyond– pure romance and inspiration. Everywhere you go in Salzburg, the scenery, the skyline, the music, and the history sends your spirits soaring. Be overwhelmed by the Dom Cathedral with its bulbous copper dome and twin spires – a masterpiece of baroque art. Visit the Salzburg Museum housed in the baroque Neue Residenz palace and take a fascinating trip through Salzburg’s past. Learn all about Mozart and his family at the Mozart-Wohnhaus museum where the family lived and where Mozart composed works such as theShepherd King. On to Mozart’s Geburtshaus, where his son was born, and where there is an interesting collection of instruments, documents and portraits.
  • 9 Salzburg – Lakes and mountains Take a tour out to the stunning scenery of the Lake District of Salzkammergut, where Salzburg’s Prince Archbishops held royal hunts and the Austrian Franz Joseph and his family spent their summer vacations. Pass by gorgeous Lake Fuschi with Castle Fuschi, now a luxury hotel, on its shores. Explore the little town of St. Gilgen where Mozart’s mother was born, and enjoy a short boat ride to St. Wolfgang. Here you will find extraordinary beauty in abundance, as well as the famous pilgrimage church with its carved gothic winged altar by Michael Pacher. Enjoy picturesque scenes during the return trip, passing Lake Krottensee, Huttenstein Castle, the shoreline of Lake Mondsee and the town of Mondsee, with its famous old monastery.
  • 10 Vienna, sightseeing and attractions Enjoy a City Tour of Vienna. Explore the city on an orientation tour where you will see the Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings, the Hofburg, the famous residence of Empress Elizabeth and the Parliament, City Hall, Burgtheater and the University. Enjoy a visit to the Schonburnn Palace,the former summer seat and residence of the Habsburgs, and end the tour at the State Opera - driving past the Belveere Palace.
